GreeneTrack Inc. Shareholder Derivative Litigation, styled Harris et al v. Winn et al, (Greene County Circuit Court, CV-13-900008):
The attorneys of Baddley, Mauro & Yates recently received preliminary approval of a settlement agreement to settle claims brought on behalf of the Greenetrack Shareholders against Greenetrack’s officers and directors. The settlement provides for a total recovery of $1,000,000.00 that will be distributed among the Greenetrack Shareholders.
Baddley, Mauro & Yates brought a lawsuit on behalf of the Greenetrack Shareholders asserting individual and derivative claims against the directors and officers of Greenetrack Inc. on February 19, 2013. The Shareholders alleged claims for corporate waste, breaches of fiduciary duty, gross mismanagement, shareholder oppression and squeeze out, civil conspiracy, and fraudulent suppression. Pursuant to a July 20, 2018 Settlement Agreement, and subject to final approval from the Court, the firm has received preliminary approval for a settlement in the amount of $1,000,000.00. The Greene County, AL Circuit Court will conduct a fairness hearing on October 12, 2018 to determine whether the settlement is fair, reasonable, and in the best interest of the Shareholder Class.
